Dr. Matthew Kangas leads our physician team at Mays & Schnapp Neurospine and Pain and is the Medical Director for the Southaven clinic. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics at the University of Detroit Mercy, his Doctor of Medicine at Michigan State University Medical School, and his anesthesiology residency and interventional pain fellowships through the University of Michigan Health System.

He holds professional memberships with the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA), International Anesthesia Research Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, North American Neuromodulation Society, and American Society of Anesthesiologists.
